This was my second visit to the cache, the first taking place about 2.5 years ago. We took a relatively new ‘cacher out to experience it. And it’s enjoyable enough to do multiple times.
Forbidden Forest is a “Harry Potter”-themed night cache. Go to the posted coordinates, shine your light around until you see a tiny reflector, go to the reflector, repeat as necessary. With most night caches, you do this until you reach the cache – but this is a DAK Girls cache.
This time, the reflectors take you to a black box in the middle of the forest. Therein lie the final coordinates of the cache…if you are ’sensitive’ enough to interpret them. I won’t say more, so as not to ruin the surprise for future ‘cachers.
The moon provided the perfect mood.
From the cache page: “Be forewarned – the forest is infested with Acromantulas – Giant Spiders that descended from the original pair named Aragog and Mosag.“
Fortunately, they were still young enough that they posed no threat.

Once again, the Forbidden Forest gives up its treasure.
